Roughly 50 years since coming to market, the vintage Rolex Datejust 1601 has managed to maintain a style that is just as relevant today as it was in the 1960s. A 36mm Oyster case and fluted bezel are common features on newer Rolex watches, as is the five-link Jubilee bracelet. And the Datejust wouldn't be the Datejust without the presence of the iconic jump date at the 3 positions on the dial. The steel and white gold finish is paired with a handsome dial accented with matching silver indices and hands. The case and dial are protected via an acrylic crystal and a waterproof screw-down crown that once boasted a resistance to depths of up to 330 feet.

This great vintage Rolex Datejust from 1971 serial 34----- in very good vintage condition as it is still strapped to its original folded Jubilee bracelet. This 1601 has a Slade Pie-Pan sigma dial (which was fitted later in this watch) with 18K white gold applied baton markers. It has had a full overhaul in January 2021 with a brand new Plexi.
