This striking model is notable for its “younger aesthetics” and was produced in both red and yellow versions. The piece was launched by racing legend Michael Schumacher who had become a new OMEGA ambassador in 1996. As well as featuring a racing-style minute track, the watch had a rubber presentation box that resembled the tyres of F1 cars and featured Schumacher’s signature in white.

This Omega Speedmaster Schumacher Special Edition is in very good condition. Comes in the original Special Tyre box with the original red leather strap (has some damage on the red colour of the strap)  on an extra brand new Uncle Seiko after market steel bracelet. 3 months warranty.

The 1545 collection is designed for all those who love water sports in all their facets: a versatile watch, suitable to follow you at any time of an intense day in contact with water. With resistance to pressure up to 30 atmospheres (300 meters deep) it is a technical and elegant watch at the same time; the perfect companion for any underwater adventure. 

Born in the 1970s, the 1545 collection was produced on request for numerous other brands when Squale was one of the first manufacturers of “water resistant” speakers in the world. Over the years, the case "Y1545" (serial production number of the case - from which the collection takes its name) was made in different sizes and with different finishes but without ever losing its own style that distinguishes it and which has remained unchanged up to the present day. Like every Squale watch, safety and resistance are the fundamental characteristics of each timepiece. For this reason, all models in the 1545 collection are equipped with a red rubberized gasket inside the screw-down crown. This gasket (the O-ring system) allows you to understand at a glance if the crown is closed or if it has remained open, since, when the crown is closed correctly, the gasket is not visible.
